It’s been on the list for a while. A long while. Somewhere between “that’ll do for now” and “we’ll sort it one day”.
Well… that day arrived over the New Year festivities, when the round tuit was finally found under a pile of empty beer cans.
After close to ten years, the OGRI MCC website has finally got an overhaul.
It ain’t broke, why change it ?
The website has grown the same way the club has — organically, with good intentions, and occasionally held together with optimism and habit. It worked in the most part, but wasn’t particularly pretty on mobile devices .
Plus there was some behind the scenes stuff that needed tweaking but that couldn’t be done when we had rally tickets on sale, as you lot would moan if you couldn’t buy them !
What we’ve done
We’re giving the site a much-needed refresh:
- Cleaner layout
- Easier navigation
- Proper mobile support
- Better homes for events, galleries and rally reports
We’re going to be doing some final tweaks and bug fixing then, fingers crossed, we’re good to go with getting our event tickets for sale !
