On Saturday 29th March 2025, members of OGRI MCC joined riders from across the biking community to provide a final escort in honour of Kev Foy of Nighthawk Leathers.
Kev was a familiar and well-respected face at bike rallies all over the UK, having traded with Nighthawk Leathers for more than 30 years. His stall was part of the fabric of the rally scene, and he will be remembered by countless riders who stopped for a chat, a bargain, or simply to say hello.
The day fell on the same date as OGRI MCC’s AGM, making for an early start. The ride began from Kemble, heading to Tiverton and then on to East Devon Crematorium, where Kev was laid to rest. After the escort, members made their way back in time for the AGM, where a glass was raised in Kev’s memory.
Our thoughts remain with Kev’s better half, Trish, and all of his family and friends. Kev will be remembered not just for what he did, but for the presence he brought to the biking community over so many years.
Gone but not forgotten.
