Our first Ogri rally and what a fantastic one it was! VERY bloody cold but the bonfire was a godsend! Everyone was really friendly and the Mulled Wine and Chilli vodka was a fab way to be greeted. hi there we are a Essex based club who were coming up to your rally we were told not to post before the 1st which we did, only to find out that you have sold all your ticket, i was told that you put them on sale at you first rally of the year so why not tell peopl,e this sounds like bad organization to me

We did not start selling tickets until Monday 1st Feb (as advertised), however, as a thank you to those people that turned to a very cold winter rally the weekend prior to that, we let them reserve tickets for the summer rally. What a great weekend at the Kickstart. Yeah it was a tad on the chilly side but the warm welcome, great food, beer, bands and bonfire certainly made up for all that.

Thanks all for a great rally, despite the character building experience of a frozen wet wipe in the toilet, the frozen solid bottle of mouthwash, and the biblical snowstorm on Dartmoor on the way back to the Lizard.
Thanks to the caterers for the excellent treacle sponge and custard.
I am also pleased the engine starter pack I had was of some use to two BMW trailie riders.

Better than fair booze prices & superior quality loos, coupled with the laid back atmosphere, chilled out people, oodles of entertainment & a decent cup of coffee - no wonder the Ogri has such a fantastic reputation. Well deserved IMO.

My firsat time at Ogri so i was a Rally Virgin, deffo coming again next year has such a good time and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Got covvered from head to tpe in flower and eggs on the back on a moped and still partied like a rockstar. Cant wait till next year. OGRI 2010 BRING IT ON!

great rally dampened by the death of our friend mo.an accident which happened only a few miles away as killed our friend and left her husband critically ill. saturday night was a toast to them with the jugsters ,brotheres over the hill and friends.the ogri, they came every year for years and they will be sadly missed thanks for allowing the 8pm speach. keep on partying its always a good one

As one of the Red Cross first aiders at this years bash, I wanted to extend my gratitude to Ogri and to all bikers for making it a superb bash. Pesonally as a direct result of the rally I will be returning to motorcycling. I sold my last bike 4 years ago and I have always regreted it.

Thanks also to Dom for the fabulous aeroplane flight and here`s hoping my 'aviating' sidecar passengers enjoyed their experience too!!

Once again a fabulous rally. Loo's much better,mostly, food was good but need more supplied into the night. Bowser's SUMO was a little disturbing, but we've managed to sleep since! Well done Ogri's, stand up and take a bow. See you all next year x

Nice 1 yet again. The weather gods were kind and catering acceptable although very disappointed not to have the dinky donuts stand this year. New car parking arrangements aok but found it a bit difficult on arrival to get my wheelchair bound guest unloaded as easily as in 2007. Managed though. All in all a great weekend.Roll on 2009.

Hi all. This year was my first Ogri Rally. People have been telling me for years how good it is, and they weren't kidding. I had a great time. Loved the real ales, bogs left a bit to be desired though. You even organised fantastic weather - brilliant!

Absolutely brilliant. Marvellous… a few deeply felt words to express your treatment of 'toilet man'. There's enough brown, dribbly stuff oozing out of Bowser's mouth without the toilets adding to the surplus!

Hi guys, great rally as usual but was not keen on the food - mostly overpriced and under (in case of chips) or over (eg burgers!) cooked.
Have done a couple of festivals this year as well as rallies and they put rally food to shame -especially in the veggie dept.
Had a great weekend tho- see you next year!

Great rally as always. Thoroughly enjoyed the silly games , bands and stalls. Catering was far better this year. I am vegetarian and there wasnt much for me last year but loads this year. Veggie burritos and full veggie breakfasts were especially appreciated. Thanks to all who made it happen.

Just to publicly thank you for showing the true biker spirit by coming to our assistance on the Friday night and hauling my defunct Ural combo in on a trailer!! You enabled us to enjoy yet another fab Ogri Rally,as well as put a smile back on Megan's face as she was in tears at the thought of going straight back home on a recovery truck!!
Big thanks to you all from Tarka,Lorraine and Megan.

Food not as good as past years.

Just back from the 2007 Ogri. 8 hours riding and one of our club members broke down in Englandshire and is still in transit with his bike on the back of a truck.
Just a quick note to say nothing, but nothing could dampen the memories of the Ogri. The single best rally in the UK. Many thanks to the Ogri MCC for hosting such a fantastic doo. Will be back again to party Ogri style. See ya all on the road or in a field soon.

Thankyou for a fantastic weekend at your rally. We had a brilliant time. The club members made everyone feel like guests and made us all feel very welcome.
So much so we are hoping for enough tickets to make it a club visit next year.
We even took advantage of the trip in the plane with Dom who was lovely.

ow what a weekend at the ogri!!!! i went to the ogri rally this weekend with the antelopes and i was a rally virgin-i got terrorised alot and had such a good weekend and will be goin next year without a doubt!!!!

Apart from the obvious, it was a good rally. From what I remember, there was a big tent, a muddy field that we got the bikes bogged down in and a telegraph pole that we dragged from another filed to fuel the fire…

Just come across the website and it brought back a few memories of Ogri MCC from Herford.
Going back to the late 70's we held one of our rallies (Fools rally?) and had a number of Ogri members there. We had a great weekend will all the lads and lasses until a couple of your lads wrapped their 250LC Yam around a lampost and ended up in Gloucester Royal for many weeks. I repaired the Yam while its owner thankfully recovered OK.

Just to say thanks for yet another cracking rally at Kemble.Well up to the standard that I and friends have enjoyed over the past few years except however for the catering side this year.In the past there has been a plentiful array of good grub at all times of the day and nightand good portion size. This year was a total fiasco.We will be back next year as the rest of the rally was fine but I do hope that the food side will be sorted out and back to it's previous good level. See you next year,
